Description of the conference:
The aim of the conference was to inform leading STEM education researchers and practitioners in Ireland about the work that others are doing and to discuss potential collaborations.
The first Teacher and Teacher Education in STEM Education Seminar took place in the University of Limerick (May 26th 2017). It presented work based around EU-funded STEM education research projects in the Irish context. This was to discuss and stimulate conversations around an action plan for advancing STEM Ed in the coming years. It showcased the amazing research out there already to be utilised in STEM classrooms. This Event was organised by EPI-STEM.
The participants were STEM lecturers, researchers and teachers representing several third level institutions and research groups.
