E-LESSON DATA

TITLE OF THE E-LESSON
E-lesson - Friction force
GEOGRAPHICAL AREA
Bârnova
COUNTRY
Romania
INTRODUCTORY TEXT TO THE LESSON
The E-lesson presents an animation lesson about physical phenomenon – friction force, explained for everyone and with references to sleighing. The lesson explains step by step 2 physics phenomenon applied in real life: why the sleigh does not slide down an iced hill that is not too steep; and why once it is pushed a bit, the sleigh starts to slide and even increases its velocity.
The learning objective:
- To understand the friction force phenomenon from real actions
- To deal with concepts like friction force, gravitational force, angle, static force,
- To apply physics formulas
- To solve problems and calculate applying formulas
