INTRODUCTORY TEXT TO THE LESSON
The E-lesson presents the study made by students about the Repedea Hill natural reservation and fossil site. The status of this fossil place: Researches conducted by Grigore Cobalcescu, showed that after 5-7 million years in the Miocene geological period, the site where the Repedea hill is now, was covered by the waters of the Sarmatian Sea, which occupied, from the West to the East a huge area between today’s Vienna and Tian Shan Mountains of Central Asia.

- To debate about the meaning of natural reservation and laws respected for protecting the nature
- To study about the Repedea Hill reservation
- To study about the fossil site
- To participate in practical actions of observation of the site
- To debate about the risks and damages of the area and impact to the nature
