INTRODUCTORY TEXT TO THE LESSON
Integrated Geography and English lesson was prepared while developing Erasmus+KA2 international project's "E-Learning from Nature" outcomes. In real lesson was organized in Plomėnai Ornithological Reserve. Teacher from Trakai Vytautas Magnus Gymnasium Dalia Valikonienė present the lesson outside.
Objective
To prepare short presentations about the plants that grow and the birds that nest in Plomėnai Ornithological Reserve.
In order to get more information about Plomėnai Ornithological Reserve, we visited Trakai National park and got a list of rare birds and plants that are protected in the reserve.
We went to Plomėnai Ornithological Reserve in March and May and took some pictures of the area. Our visits were very short, as representatives of Trakai National park warned us about the abundance of ticks.
The task for students was to collect information about the Reserve and the plants, which we took pictures of, and to prepare short presentations.
