INTRODUCTORY TEXT TO THE LESSON
In this lesson the students investigate the structure of the chloroplast.
They make a model of a chloroplast using craft materials, and based on images they have researched.
The gardens of the school grounds provide inspiration to research the mechanism of photosynthesis.
They describe how plants utilise energy from the sun to convert raw materials carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen.
