INTRODUCTORY TEXT TO THE LESSON
An integrated Biology and English lesson was prepared while developing Erasmus+KA2 international project’s “E-Learning from Nature” outcomes. The lesson “ The most common plants growing in the dunes”was organized in Smiltyne, the part of the national reserve – the Curonian Spit.
The teachers from Klaipeda “Azuolynas” gymnasium Simona Balciuniene and Raimonda Dargeviciene, Vitalija Pliakuviene presented the lesson outside and inside the gymnasium.
 The learning objectives:
To get acquainted with the most common dune plants.: to find out/learn which dune plants are the most spread ones; what is their purpose; to describe some of them(4-6).

Students together with teachers visited Smiltyne.Students were divided into groups of three.They were given the task to spread in the dunes and find certain the most common kinds of dune plants; Baltic Goatsbeard (Tragopogon heterospermus), Sea Sandwort (Honckenya peploides), Gypsophila paniculata,.All these mentioned plants are planted to protect and secure the dunes.
Later they searched for the description of each plant on the internet.The third class students Gabriele, Donata and Sofija have made a research work on these issues .Then they have made a presentation.
