INTRODUCTORY TEXT TO THE LESSON
- The contents of the lesson:
The students watched the straight light spread through tree branches, measured the length of plant shadows, calculated the heights of plants by using the properties of similar triangles, and presented their reports. Also, the students got the photos of natural micro objects by using an optical device, the loupe, and the microscope integrated into a student’s computer.
- The learning objective:
To determine the height of the trees by measuring the length of their shadows and to make photos of micro objects by using an optical enlargement device.
