Layers of a forest ecosystem

INTRODUCTORY TEXT TO THE LESSON
- The contents of the lesson:
While walking along the path of the reserve of Dubrava urotshistshe, the students found the following layers of the forest: 1) moss, 2) herbaceous plants, 3) bushes, 4) undergrowth (i.e. small trees), and 5) trees. They took photos of plants that are typical to each layer, determined their names by using atlas “Green Robe of Lithuania”, and described them correctly as well.
- The learning objective: To become acquainted with the layers of forest plants in practice.
