Description of the conference:

SciComPt is a national conference, and this edition had as main theme the Science Objects: what issues arise in its relationship with the public, what possible interactions with areas of non-museological scientific communication, and how they promote the communication of science. In this context, the following topics were covered: art and science, science by citizens, science for citizenship, scientists as science communicators, institutional communication, non-formal education, training of communicators, the role of media, museums and science centers, the public.
The participants included all people interested in science communication (teachers, scientists, formal and non-formal educators, school directors, science museum representatives, etc.).
