INTRODUCTORY TEXT TO THE LESSON The E-lesson presents the study topic of What is Air Temperature?
The students of the 7th grade B, from the Gymnasium School Alexandru Ioan Cuza Bacau, approached this theme on the basis of the method, rediscovery, discovery or "see and learn".
In the first stage the students coached by Prof. Doina Capsa measured the temperature of the air using the thermometer in the perimeter of the courtyard of the school yard.
Students were given the opportunity to measure the air temperature in four consecutive breaks of March 2017.
This stage familiarized him with the use of the mercury-temperature meter and the identification of errors that might occur in reading this atmospheric parameter. Students compared measured values to each other, achieved the average of the afternoon of March 16 and represented graphically the temperature variation over time.
The learning objective:
- to know complementary physical quantities in the characterization of atmospheric air
- to use the mercury-temperature meter and the identification of the errors that may occur in reading this atmospheric parameter
- to compare the measured values, realized the average of the temperature and represented graphically the temperature variation over time.
- to visit the meteorological station platform of Vasile Alecsandri University in Bacau, where they measured, besides air temperature, atmospheric humidity, wind speed, light intensity.
