TITLE OF THE E-LESSON
E-Learning from Nature: Landscape Design and Harvesting
COUNTRY
Ireland
INTRODUCTORY TEXT TO THE LESSON
This lesson continues the learning pathway of the previous lessons from this school.
We see the students thinking about the natural environment and then saying how this has inspired them with the construction of their Sensory Garden in the school.
The students share their experiences of the Sensory Garden and the aspects of design that inform landscape projects. They talk about construction of the garden and how it must appeal to all the senses:
Sight
Taste
Smell
Touch
Hearing

In terms of taste they show harvesting of produce from the garden.

They also show how they made the Sensory Garden project multidisciplinary with the ceramic art wall part of the project.
