INTRODUCTORY TEXT TO THE LESSON In this lesson the students focus again on the importance of photosynthesis, the process by which green plants trap the sunlight energy and convert it into food for the plants.
They define the terms:
Producer
Consumer
Apex Predator
Decomposer
The lesson includes representation of the equation for photosynthesis. The students show how the plants use the glucose for energy, store it for future use or convert it into other biomolecules.
Throughout the lesson we observe the variety of plants and trees that surround the students every day.
