INTRODUCTORY TEXT TO THE LESSON
In this video the teacher describes the learning intentions of a lesson about observing the trees in the school grounds. It is a gateway lesson, between those previously recorded by this school and those remaining lessons.
The scaffolding using worksheets is described and the way in which students developed their knowledge is also outlined.
Students looked at plants and their seeds and worked in groups to complete the worksheets and also to gather more information about the life cycles of the plants.
