DESCRIPTION OF THE LOCAL AREA
Park of Neris river cost is the West of Kaunas city, Vilijampolė microdistrict, between two bridges (P.Vileišis and Varniai). It is extended by the Neris river cost.

The works of establishing this park was started on 1978, but the status of park for this teritory was given just on 1997. The park teritory is 20,7 ha area, dominates deciduous trees. The path for pedestrians and bicycles in Park of Neris river cost is the part of Kaunas bicycles paths and it is 63 km through all Kaunas city. The park is beside household area, the bridge connects this region with old town of Kaunas. So, in the park local people likes walking with their families, friends, pets and also have rides with bicycles.
