BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION
ASEV has been created in 2002 with a mixed public private capital by the municipalities and social partners of the Empolese Valdelsa district, to promote the economic, cultural and social development of the area. ASEV is officially recognised as adult and vocational training and career guidance centre by Tuscany Region. Its activities, that so far have involved 12.000 people, include planning and management of vocational training courses for people, enterprises, associations, public or private bodies; promotion of innovation and sustainable development. ASEV is certified ISO 9001:2000, has 35 employees for a turnover of about 3 millions €.
MISSION
- Planning and management of activities connected with the economic development of the area, included activities of urban development and all those activities related with the innovation and the sustainable development
- Planning, managing and carrying on of vocational training courses for people, enterprises, associations, public or private bodies
- Planning, organization and management of the activities of school and professional guidance
- Planning and management of project within programmes and initiatives, local, regional, national or European
- Planning, management and organization of services for employment and for works active politics
- Management of course and activities related with university education
- Promotion, planning and management activities in tourist ambit to enhance the cultural, historical environmental patrimony of the Empolese Valdelsa District.
HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS
Among ASEV’s shareholders are the main representatives of local public entities and economic tissue: 11 Municipalities (60 of shares%) Florence Chamber of Commerce (25% of shares) and 14 other local economic association and trade unions (15%).
Due to its capital composition, ASEV represents the connection point at a local level between public authorities, schools and enterprises. ASEV therefore operates in strict collaboration with all relevant public actors on economic field (DB of 10.000 PA contacts).
ASEV commits to disseminate the project’s results among its wide network of contacts. In particular, the stakeholder will be reached through:
- The company’s website www.asev.it, which can count on 5.000 monthly average accesses;
- ASEV Newsletter, which is sent monthly to approx. 1.600 institutions, schools and companies;
- The hundreds of courses and events, activities, workshop organized yearly by the company.
