BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION
The objectives of Lough Gur Development Society Ltd are to benefit the local community and to undertake activities beneficial to the community. Our aim is to raise awareness of Lough Gur, it is also our aim to attract visitors to the area and include all members of the community in any new initiatives developed by the Society.

Lough Gur Heritage Centre:

The Heritage Centre located by the lakefront in Lough Gur was fully refurbished and restored in 2013. The exhibition within provides an overview of one of Ireland’s most important archaeological sites. It is the only area in the country where you can see visible evidence of every age since Neolithic times.

The Centre will provide visitors with information on the surrounding sites and attractions in the local area.
HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS
