BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION
In the Municipality of Bragança, the Education Sector has the responsibility to develop the following activities:
- Design and develop the plan of activities of the municipality in the area of Education;
- Study the deficiencies in school facilities and propose the acquisition and replacement of degraded equipment;
- Promote and support educational activities within the competences of the Municipality;
- Organize, maintain and develop the network of school buses in the county to ensure their management, monitoring and evaluation;
- Manage the patrimony of the public school system in pre-school and primary school.
HOW THE ORGANISATION WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF THE PROJECT RESULTS
The Municipality of Bragança maintains a permanent and close collaboration with the schools of the region, supporting several education activities, being also a formal member of the Science Centre of the city. Therefore it is a privileged partner to promote and disseminate the project information within its network of contacts in the Education area, contributing to the maintenance of the project results in the future.
