Chapter 3: Opportunities for International Cooperation in Science Education
Introduction
The possibility for school staff (teachers, head teachers, librarians, etc.) to establish an international cooperation between schools with the aim to communicate, collaborate and develop projects enhances the use of innovative teaching methodologies and allows the promotion a proactive students’ approach to scientific subjects learning. This chapter offers an overview of several portals such as E-twinning, European Schoolnet, School Education Gateway and European Shared Treasure.
